Theme compatibility & custom development
Chained Options supports the Default OpenCart theme and includes Journal 3 integration on versions supported by that separately licensed theme. Other themes, theme customisations or interacting extensions may require custom development to resolve a compatibility issue. We will assess the conflict and provide a separate quote; this work is not included in the $200 extension price. Contact us before purchase if you need a compatibility review.
A third-party theme incompatibility does not, by itself, entitle the buyer to a refund. This does not limit applicable consumer rights or the refund policy of the marketplace where the extension was purchased.

Which OpenCart versions and themes are supported?
Separate installers cover OpenCart 1.5–2.2, 2.3, 3.x and native 4.x/4.1, checked against 12 official cores. Standard product themes are supported. Journal 3 integration is included on versions supported by that separately licensed theme. Custom themes or interacting modifications may require an integration review.
Can I reuse a configuration across several products?
Yes. Create a template and assign it to multiple products. Each product keeps its own configuration tree, so you can adapt individual branches without changing the original template.
Can choices change images and prices?
Yes. Branches can provide gallery images and fixed or percentage price adjustments. The server validates the selected path and calculates the configured price. The summary uses OpenCart tax and currency formatting; adding to cart shows a success message without leaving the product page.
What is included in the installation?
The package includes the four installer families, installation instructions, and English and Bulgarian language files. It uses VQMod on OpenCart 1.5, OCMOD on 2.x/3.x and native events on 4.x. Options Combinations is not required. Back up your shop and check existing modifications before launch.
