Follow these steps to get a useful baseline before enabling caching.
The connector is free to download. Activating the 7-day trial requires a Devman account, a Stripe subscription and a payment method.
OpenCart 1.5.x–2.2.0.0, 2.3.x, 3.x and 4.x use separate packages. Legacy connectors require PHP 5.6 or newer; your OpenCart version must also meet its own PHP requirements. Back up the store and test on staging first.
Older PHP sessions can send no-store headers on public pages. Performance Pro respects them and bypasses caching. Ask your hosting provider to review session.cache_limiter before enabling cache; private pages must remain protected.
OpenCart 3/4: Open Extensions → Installer. Upload the OpenCart 3 ZIP for 3.x, or the OpenCart 4 ZIP for 4.x. Keep the archive compressed. In OpenCart 4, click Install after uploading.
After refreshing modifications, confirm that Maintenance Mode is off in your store settings.
OpenCart 1.5: install VQMod 2.6 or newer, extract the legacy ZIP and upload the contents of upload/ to your store root, preserving folders. This includes vqmod/xml/devman_performance_pro.xml. Never upload the private Devman service.
OpenCart 2.x: choose the 1.5–2.2 or 2.3 ZIP for your version and upload it through Extensions → Installer. Refresh Extensions → Modifications. If your installer requires FTP, configure it with your hosting provider or use the manual upload procedure and import install.xml as performance_pro.ocmod.xml.

Open Extensions → Modules in OpenCart 1.5–2.2, or Extensions → Extensions → Modules in 2.3–4. Find Performance Pro, click Install, then Edit. If access is denied, ask the administrator to grant access and modify permission to this module.
Enter your email in the OpenCart setup assistant. Your store URL is detected automatically; no Devman account is required at this step.
Use the same email you entered in OpenCart. New customers create a Devman account; existing customers sign in. Continue from the setup link opened by the extension.
Start your subscription in Stripe with a payment method. Your first charge of 3 € per month plus applicable taxes is due after the 7-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends from your Devman account to avoid any subscription charge. No commitment.

Caching unlocks after 20 comparable measurements from the same page type and device.
After Stripe confirms your trial or payment, switch back to the OpenCart tab. Your license connects automatically without copying a key. If the panel has not updated, click Check activation. Measurement starts; caching remains off until you enable it after recording a baseline.
With the extension installed, an active subscription and measurement enabled, load times are collected while caching is off. Caching unlocks after 20 comparable measurements from the same page type and device. About two days of traffic are recommended for a useful baseline, but there is no fixed waiting period.
Visit public pages as a guest in a private browser window. Keep the cache off while collecting the baseline. Compare the same page type and device; percentages need at least 20 samples in each group.
Open Server checklist, enable public page caching and save. Check products, stock, prices, language, currency and checkout as a guest and signed-in customer. The Before and now comparison uses the measurements collected by your store. You do not need to record changes.
To cancel during the trial, open Performance Pro in your Devman account, choose Manage subscription and confirm the cancellation in Stripe before the trial ends. Uninstalling the extension does not cancel your subscription.
